The Museum for Communication is prominently located along Frankfurt’s Museum Embankment. The architecture of the new building, designed by Stuttgart architects Behnisch & Partners, has received numerous awards. It offers a unique setting for evening gala dinners, receptions and concerts, lectures, conferences and press conferences.

Exclusive tours

As a highlight for you and your guests, we offer exclusive tours through our permanent exhibition “Media tell their (hi)stories” as well as current special exhibitions. These can also be booked individually as a special event.


The museum has exclusive catering partners for all events. From festive dinners to cold, warm or flying buffets, receptions or lunch – for every opportunity we offer a selection of delicious dishes and total commitment to realising your vision for your event.

If you prefer to work with your own catering partner, this is also possible by prior arrangement and against a buy-out fee.

Atrium Lectures, discussions, readings, dinners, buffets, concerts Mondays all day, Tuesday to Friday from 6.30 p.m.
Lecture Room Meetings, workshops, press conferences, seminars Monday to Friday all day, set up from 7.30 a.m.
Museum Café/Terrace Get togethers, champagne receptions, coffee breaks, lunches when hiring the Lecture Room a partial area is also available Monday to Friday all day, and exclusively available for hire from 6.30 p.m.
Skyline Terrace (available to be hired additionally)
Smaller receptions, and get-togethers Mondays all day, Tuesday to Friday from 6.30 p.m.
